HAZY WEST COAST IPA

Sawtooth Amber Ale
Key Lime Pie Nitro
Key Lime Pie Nitro is as tart and tropical as the mouth-watering dessert it’s named for. This sour ale combines the puckering brightness of real lime juice and lime peel with creamy lactose richness. Our blend of malts is enhanced by vanilla and cinnamon, providing a layer of flavor reminiscent of graham cracker crust. This velvety, citrusy sour is then finished off with the addition of nitrogen. As you watch all the tiny Nitro bubbles cascade into your glass, the pillowy head tops off your experience like a dollop of fresh whipped cream. Each sip mimics a spoonful of Key Lime Pie, and we bet you can't have just one slice.

Famous for its citrus and pine aromas, Celebration is bold and intense, featuring Cascade, Centennial and Chinook hops—honoring everything we have at Sierra Nevada.

Alpine Nelson
Named after Nelson Sauvin, an outstanding hop varietal from New Zealand. The hop is introduced through the brewing and dry-hopping of this complex and well-balanced IPA. A hazy straw hued ale, Nelson is topped by bright white beer foam and offers a tropical hop aroma. The pine and fruity hop notes linger, but are well-balanced by the smooth, malty addition of European rye malts. Enjoy this stunning and multifaceted, yet mellow IPA.

Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest
It’s the ultimate season of revelry, so we teamed up with Germany’s Bitburger Brewery for an Oktoberfest that turns backyards into beer gardens. Rally your friends and celebrate with a festbier whose rich amber color and smooth malty flavor bring the Munich tents to you. We brewed Oktoberfest with Bitburger’s custom yeast and secret hop blend called Siegelhopfen, meaning “Sealed Hops”—two house ingredients never shared outside their walls until now.

Sierra Nevada Stout
We built our first brewhouse using recycled dairy equipment. We had to test our handywork, so we loaded it up with a heavy, dark Stout. That first batch was a 13-hour labor of love, and when we sipped the first bottle, we knew we had a keeper. With a nod to the West Coast, we balance Stout’s deep, roasted malt flavors with earthy, whole-cone hops.

Sierra Nevada Torpedo
It started as a napkin sketch in a pub, an idea for a device that could boost hop aroma without adding more bitterness. We built the sketch, and the “Hop Torpedo” revolutionized dry hopping and inspired Torpedo Extra IPA. It’s an aggressive yet balanced beer featuring the complex citrus, pine, and herbal character of whole-cone hops.

Sierra Nevada Brut IPA
We brewed this new take on IPA with a bone-dry, champagne-style finish in mind. Late hop additions lend a bright pop of citrus flavor and create balanced bitterness. Brut IPA is as intriguing as it is drinkable.
Sierra Nevada Hoptimum
Our brewers selected the finest, most flavorful hops, pushed them beyond their limits and forged them into this all-new triple IPA. This reimagined Hoptimum is our hoppiest beer yet, providing a blend of tropical and citrus hop aroma that delivers a refined yet aggressive character.
Sierra Nevada Big foot
Bigfoot is a beast of a beer, packed with bittersweet malt and heaps of aggressive whole-cone Pacific Northwest hops. First introduced in the winter of 1983, Bigfoot is a cult-classic brewed in the barleywine style—strong and robust with the refined intensity of a wine. Bigfoot is prized by beer collectors for aging in cellars. Under the proper conditions, it can develop enticing new flavors and character as it matures in the bottle. Each new release or “expedition” is vintage dated. Collect your own and savor the evolving flavors.
Sierra Nevada Narwhal
Narwhal Imperial Stout is inspired by the mysterious creature that thrives in the deepest fathoms of the frigid Arctic Ocean. Rich with notes of espresso, baker’s cocoa, roasted grain and a light hint of smoke, Narwhal brims with malt complexity. Aggressive but refined with a velvety smooth body and decadent finish, Narwhal will age in the bottle for years to come.

Sierra Nevada Porter
Porters were invented as a fortifying drink for the rough-and-tumble working class of London’s bustling markets. It was brewed for good folks with calluses on their hands, doing work that needed to be done. We salute those working-class heroes with our classic Porter, brewed in the hop-forward American style and featuring a depth of malt flavor and complexity with roasted notes of black coffee and cocoa.
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
Heavy on hops, that was always the brewery plan. So in 1980, we loaded Pale Ale up with Cascade—a new hop at the time named after the mountain range—and the intense aromas of pine and citrus sparked the American craft beer revolution.
Ale Smith Speedway Stout
Speedway Stout’s ominous, pitch-black appearance has become a hallmark of this modern-day classic. Chocolate and roasted malts dominate the flavor, supported by notes of dark fruit, toffee, and caramel. A healthy dose of locally-roasted coffee from Ryan Bros. Coffee, Inc. added to each batch brings out the beer’s dark chocolate flavors and enhances its drinkability. Despite its intensity, Speedway Stout’s fine carbonation and creamy mouthfeel make it very smooth and surprisingly easy to drink. This beer ages very well.
FOOD PAIRINGS
This beer’s great balance makes it a very food-friendly Imperial Stout. Pair its roasty flavors and robust mouthfeel with rich beef dishes and char-grilled foods. Both chocolate and vanilla desserts also pair well, as do salty blue cheeses like Stilton or hard nutty cheeses like aged Gouda and cloth-bound cheddars.
Ballast Point Aloha Sculpin
This is an award-winning IPA for the horns home. Drinking it will make you feel like being in heaven.

Ballast Point California Kölsch German Style Pale Ale
The founding wine of Cape Point Winery, it is a strong and golden-colored beer, which was added with aromatic German hops. The use of American malt and Munich malt made the wine more full. The hops are delivered in a brewed way and the fermentation is done in a brewed way. This combination of innovative methods produces a smooth wine with a fruity and aromatic aftertaste. This is an extremely easy-to-drink beer, just like the Koersch-style beer should do, and it also has the complex taste needed for fine craft beer.
Ballast Point Sculpin IPA
A trophy beer that’s a testament to our homebrew roots.
Our Sculpin IPA is a great example of what got us into brewing in the first place. After years of experimenting, we knew hopping an ale at five separate stages would produce something special. The result ended up being this gold-medal winning IPA, whose inspired use of hops creates hints of apricot, peach, mango and lemon flavors, but still packs a bit of a sting, just like a Sculpin fish.
Ballast Point Manta Ray
This new IPA rises above the rest.
We’ve developed many IPA recipes in our R&D program, but right from the tank, our Manta Ray Double IPA was a winner. Aromas of fresh, citrusy tangerine, melon and light pine leap from the beer and linger over a smooth finish. Like its namesake, this brew can sneak up on you – a big beer without a bite.
Ballast Point Victory at Sea
A big porter crafted to weather any storm. Our Victory at Sea Imperial Porter is a bold, smooth brew with just the right amount of sweetness. We infused this robust porter with vanilla and San Diego’s own Caffe Calabria coffee beans. The subtle roasted notes and minimal acidity of the cold brewed coffee, balances perfectly with the sweet caramel undertones of the malt, creating a winning combination for your palate.
